PHOENIX, AZ - Candidate for Arizona governor, Rep. Aaron Lieberman, toured the Retail Operations Center for Goodwill. The event was held as part of the company's Goodwill Mission Tour. 

During the tour, Goodwill staff took Rep. Lieberman on a journey of stories, sharing the impact of Goodwill’s mission. They also walked through the Clearance Center and showcased the organization's item recycling and salvage operations.

“The tour today was amazing, you can really see that this organization makes the most of every donated item. The Goodwill mission is Empowering Individuals, Strengthening Families, and Building Stronger Communities. That's what I'm all about," said Rep. Aaron Lieberman after the event"As someone who founded a successful non-profit, I appreciate the impact Goodwill has had on Arizona and communities across the country. Ensuring that non-profits and their staff thrive in our state and that people in need receive the support they deserve, will be a cornerstone of the Lieberman administration."  

Aaron Lieberman, state representative for Legislative District 28 and a social entrepreneur, is a candidate for governor of Arizona. After seeing first-hand the effectiveness and success of early childhood intervention programs, Aaron launched Jumpstart, a national nonprofit to ensure all children had the opportunity to enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.  To date, more than 50,000 college students have served, working with more than 100,000 children and earning over $200 million in scholarships through AmeriCorps. Later, he founded Acelero Learning to close the achievement gap for Head Start children. Impacting over 40,000 kids every day, children enrolled in Acelero’s programs make gains at nearly three times the national average. Aaron was born and raised in Arizona. He and his wife live in Phoenix, where they’re raising their two sons. Aaron’s daughter is studying history at Yale, his alma mater.
